In Kaiteriteri (we were never quite sure how many ‘teri’s were in that while we visiting) myself and a small group decided to stay an extra night so that we could explore the coast line on a kayaking day out. I was determind to see the sun rise over Kaiteriteri beach and was glad to have a few yawning and like minded friends by my side (before we all stumbled back into bed).
Mountain climbing, raft riding, sky diving, there isn’t much you can’t do in Taupo. However since it rained for my entire stay, there wasn’t much I could do either. Taupo is the south islands answer to adventure, with plenty to do and see whether that be supping on the largest lake of New Zealand, exploring the beauty and power of hukka falls, or falling thousands of feet through the sky. But due to shitty weather, I chose to get drunk in a boat…
Just kidding* I climbed a mountain.
(* I still got drunk in a boat)
Stop number two: Waitomo. After hearing there wasn’t much to do here besides visit the mystical glow worm caves (and that in order to see them you had to jump down a few water falls in the pitch black) I figured I wouldn’t be doing much over my stay.
However just as I had decided that it sounded like the worst idea imaginable for someone who has a fear of spiders, caves, small dark spaces and jumping into wet things, a small voice popped into my head saying fuck it. What better way to face your fears than by saying a big fuck you to them all at once.
Hot water beach was stop number one on my tour. I was incredibly dubious as to how hot this water would be. And after taking a few steps on the cold wet sand I thought it was all a scam. However a few scolding moments later I was forced to take it all back as the sand beneath my feet burned through.
Whangamata is a small but beautiful town set in the coastline of New Zealands north island. The coromandel, which is sort of like a county, is home to beautiful islands, mountains and towns, the most beautiful being Whangamata.
Before you read on ask yourself: Do you want a good body for now, or do you want a good body forever?
If what you want is a quick solution then the advice is already out there: Stop eating, start running yada yada yada done. Unfortunately this is not a long term solution. To get a body you are happy in can be a slow moving process. It’s not too hard, and actually it’s quite simple, so although the transformation takes its time, I promise it will be worth the wait.
